Before you start making or even trying to make a cool looking title sequence i would recommend you to visit this website The Art of The Title Sequence
, and watch some of the amazing title sequences from all over the world.Recently i watched Vantage Point and was impressed with the simple and neat title sequence. So, i went ahead and used the basic idea from it (geometric shapes showing parts of the movie) and used it for the title sequence of What would you do?5. I haven’t put the video here, but there is a high resolution picture of the title sequence.]

I made the whole thing in Adobe After Effects 7.0 Professional. What i did was first make Triangles of various  dimensions and animated them through time. Then, i took clips from the movie and arraged them in such a way that they look random and tilted. Then i used the traingles as an aplha matte for the clips i.e. told After effects that only show the clip inside the traingles.

Then i added a a blue tint to the clips. After that i added the wiggle tool, (that is to randomly change its position over time). You must make sure that the clips inside the triangles don’t disorient or distract the viewer too much. Then i added the text, i used a simple arial black format with white filling, and animated it so that it blurs in as it arrives. You can add various effects such as Glow (effects>stylize.>glow) and also animate the text.

We are all familiar with mindless films. Recently there have been a lot of them. I came across some film makers in YouTube who make mindless films, they call themselves Smosh. Once i saw their videos, i realised that even acting dumb and doing totally ridiculous things can be very entertaining. They do have a solid script no matter how retarted it sounds. All i am trying to say that once in a while we all need to relax and just see some movies that make no sense at all… I have been so stressed with working on my short film, that i want to just make a video where i can have a lot of fun without worrying about anything… So you can expect to see a video very soon which will make no sense at all but will entertain you nonetheless.

This is my latest parody, and dont worry it wont be a dissapointment like the recent ones. This movie was so enjoyable ,but it was even more fun making the parody… Sit back and enjoy and tell me what you think…

The trailer is impressive. And i really love the Indian feel of the superhero. The graphics looks 7 years behind (the original Mummy(1999) had a much better sand face animation). The only thing that can save this movie is half decent direction, a PG rating and the most unbelievable performance by Abhishek Bachchan….Well thats how Krrish became a super hit. Surely gonna see it for the curiosity.

I saw the Sony Ericsson W350i add on Tv recently and all i have to say is how many freaking times are they gonna use “make-abstract-sounds-build-up-make-a-tune”. This add has two “cool dudes” instructing millions of computer generated people to pick up garbage and make music. Then Samsung which already has a stupid add like this for an older phone, made a new one for the Olympics!!

Then Honda, who anyway makes crap ads, made one for its scooters which has a bunch of mentally retarted workers who make music with factory machines. One more dumb ad based on making music with abstract sounds i am gonna make my own one!!

As you have noticed What would you do?5 (w5?) hasnt released in july. And Aniket keeps making fun of me everyday that the movie will release next year…. it wont, i am working on it whenever i can while Anik is having the time of his life in BASE. Okay , i am done bashing Aniket, i wanted to tell you guys about the problem i am facing with the editing of a fight sequence in the movie where i am having a fist fight with a Negative character. I added the sound also and showed it some of my friends, i didnt get the response i was expecting…

The problem is i cant make the viewers feel the punches and the pain which honestly was very very painful while shooting… So i decided to turn to my teachers..Hollywood. The movie i am talking about is Bourne Ultimatum, which has fantastic editing (won an academy award for editing). The editing style is primarily “shaky cam”. A term i came across in Youtube. Shaky Cam means shooting action sequences while making the camera “shake” a lot to make the audience disoriented (the best achieved effect was in the begining of “Batman Begins” where chiristian Bale fights with Inmates from his cell during meal time).

So, you can expect a lot of shaking and blurring in the fight sequence. Also, with the sound i am gonna record more human grunts in addition to the punching sounds.

Aniket and me are currently working on the script of W5? , and also a short comic book style video called “What would you do? _______”…. i will tell you later.

Aniket (the dude from 9 hours to live) and his friends have started a group called L.I.F.E on Facebook, it has members who want the wars and violence to stop. The group are just a bunch of teenagers who just want to create some awareness…

IF you care about the peace, join it…. Also, the event “No nukes please” was recently held. All we require of you is to send us a pic of you wearing a black T shirt, since we are gonna make a documentary with it, even short video clips are welcome…

The trailer looks sweet!! The Harry Potter movies are getting better and better,like they are treating it like a REAL movie and not like a movie for kids (like the maturity seen in The Dark Knight).

I havent read the half blood prince, i read it till 5th so i guess i am gonna have fun watching this movie without understanding a single thing…

The young voldemort looks interesting, especially when he says “i can speak to snakes too”…

No offense , Daniel Radcliffe is mutating into a freak as the years go by…

” Who the hell are you?”

” I am you, Kenneth”

” You kidding me ? this is insane you look exactly like me , your wearing the same clothes I am wearing and your telling me that you are me…….am I dreaming or what” replied Kenneth.

“You must have a name, now don’t tell me it’s Kenneth”, Kenneth replied as if that was the best question he had….

“Well he didn’t give me a name, lets see…..you can call me Ash……..”

‘Dr.Zak is involved in all of this ? , but he told me that my DNA…….” asked Kenneth

“Who said that wimp is involved in this , its some one else someone you don’t want to know a”,Ash replied

“Do I have more clones..”

“I know it’s unfortunate but to bad , you do have many more clones…….because you are the chosen one”, Ash replied

Ash walked out of the house leaving Kenneth clueless about what just happened.

Kenneth Sebastian , was just another guy until the previous month when Dr.Zachariah Archer aka Dr.Zak , an Indian Scientist whose research on cloning had created a furore in the scientific community , took him along as an assistant and accidentally found out that h possessed an unique DNA signature, which instantly made him an important biological property.

“Doc  what is going on, who’s this guy named Ash”, Kenneth said as he entered Dr.Zak’s laboratory.

Dr.Zak turned around and replied ,”So he named himself Ash”

“Why? ,Whats with that” ,asked Kenneth

“You see your DNA was not the only data stored on the mainframe , so who ever pulled this off has mixed your DNA info with those of others , these DNA strains belong to sportsmen , actors, politicians just around every one , in a process imparting him with many powers we would not want him to have” , said Dr.Zak

“But Doc his name………”,Kenneth said

“Oh , you see your name has an Irish origin and it means risen from fire”,replied Dr.Zak

“That’s why he named himself Ash……..” Kenneth said

“Be careful he will be on you for sometime,and meet these guys ,  Cain and Abel ”

“Doc Can I talk to you for a while….” Kenneth asked

In what followed Kenneth was told that the clones Cain and Abel did posses the power of cloning instantaneously but the resultant clones would be inferior to those they were cloned from just like photocopies weaker and not as smart.

On the way back Kenneth took BMTC bus no.500 and along with him were Cain and Abel.

“hey kenny , do you like Star Wars?”, asked Cain

“I love it ” ,replied Abel

“ya I kind of like it  , i owned a light saber when I was a kid”,said Kenneth

“You don’t seem to be happy” asked Cain

“I am not”

The BMTC bus stopped a lane away from Kenneth’s house , his parents had moved to ancestral home in the coastal regions of India.

As he entered , Kenneth  was shocked that forced him to shout

“What happened ” asked Abel

“My car ….it’s gone”
